My results for $0.02-$0.04 Limit Hold 'Em for March. I enjoyed it, even if it was a little crazy, and I'm looking to find out how people are playing in the next level. My bankroll is growing at a nice rate, 13% ROI in fact.
Tomorrow I start at $0.05-$0.10 LHE as well as moving into the $0.04-$0.08 Stud Hi games.

Random thoughts
The last couple of days has been completely break-even. I'm stupidly rolled for $0.02-$0.04 LHE but I've set guidelines for myself in when I can and can't move up and I'm not going to break those rules just because I've got a good pad for the next level. But this break-even stretch (around 2K in hands) has reminded me of something I think about in MTTs.
Everyone talks about variance and all players get used to the idea. We talk about the variance in cash games on the micro and macro levels but no one speaks about the micro-variance which goes into playing tournaments. One tournament is a session and this means that we will have the ups and downs within one tournament that we will all have over our long-term tournament life. Chaos. The micro is the macro.
So the trick is, inside the micro-world tournament, to spot when a losing "session" is on it's way. And these "bad" sessions can be a run of bad cards or a run of good cards that come up against a better hand. In the ups and downs of a single tournament, you have to ride the tide and almost ignore what you're playing (obviously not literally).
Just a random concept to think on.
In other news, I miss London. I'veareDallas been stuck in the a for too long. I miss home and I hope I can get back there soon.
See you at the tables.

A few thoughts
I've been playing cards for a while now and poker online for a number of years. I've never really attempted to move out of the micro-stakes, I just wasn't ready mentally. I think I am now and that's what matters. I may not have the skills in place but I know the game and I know people.
There's nothing really to be said about playing $0.02-$0.04 Limit Hold 'Em online. I stand by my beliefs that if you're unable to beat the lowest limits there's no way you should ever move up, everyone needs a consistent result at every level. At the micros I'm taking this as a minimum of 10,000 hands + a positive winrate. If the winrate is a little hairy, there's nothing wrong with staying in one place for a little longer.
My winrate right now is 5BB/100, my ROI being an average 13.5% growth of my money for every session I play. I'm pretty happy with this and I've taken some nasty bounces during this month that I'm pleased to note haven't caused me to tilt. I have two big problems right now, concentration and silly mistakes. Both need to be worked on.

The beginnings of the long road
So here I am almost a month (plus six hours) into my poker journey after being able to come back to the game. I've started from scratch, deposited $18 into my Pokerstars account. The following is a breakdown of what I am playing right now:
Stakes - $0.02-$0.04 Limit Hold'Em
Tables - 4
Time - Up to 5 hours ever day (given what life can throw me).
Each month I'll be re-evaluating where I am. If I'm able to move up to the next limit after that month then I'll move up, otherwise I stay where I am for the next month.
